As a retired City Cop of 27 years and currently a Pastor I can tell you if I had to point to a piece of real estate in my city that I would consider holy ground it would be a 12’ x 12’ section of Bond Street. It was on that section of street where I was shot twice before drawing my 9MM and killing my attacker. By the grace of God I survived, By the wrath of God my attacker did not.

Can one follow Jesus and serve as a LEO or in the Military? I would ask how can one serve WITHOUT following Jesus!!!

Amen! Repent, be baptized, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Thank you to all our soldiers and first responders who love God and love and protect people. We need more brave people like you.

What a great way to explain it! There is also mention of soldiers who came to John the Baptist in the wilderness. He did not tell them to quit, either. Excellent insight, with our first loyalty to Christ.

Of course you can! There’s no higher and noble calling than to be a warrior for Christ!

Can I offer my book "The Servant Warrior; the role of faith in Law Enforcement" through Amazon. I cover this matter from 33 years in Law Enforcement as an officer and chaplain.

Thanks for writing this.

Prayer for Our Safety Teams

Heavenly Father,

I come to You today to lift up our church safety team, thanking You for their dedication to protecting our congregation.

I ask for Your divine protection over them as they serve. Guard their physical safety and shield them from harm, both seen and unseen.

Grant them wisdom to discern potential threats, courage to face challenges, and understanding to make sound decisions in critical moments. Fill them with the Holy Spirit, that they may act with unity, purpose, and integrity.

Send Your holy angels to surround our church, our doors, and our team members, creating a barrier against any force of evil that seeks to harm us.

Help them to serve with humility and a spirit of love, remembering that their role is an extension of Your care for Your flock.

I thank You for Your presence with them and for Your promise to deliver us from evil. In Jesus name, Amen.

Very solid Biblical exposition of the topic. Thanks for sharing this. One request though, will you please lower or eliminate the background music? It distracts from your timely counsel. Thanks, again, outstanding work.

Amen Christ is the Commander in Chief. Look to Him first. What we do as believers, any occupation, as men of our family is all under His Authority. Amen PTL bill brown

Keith, I'll try this one to see if I should subscribe, as I do at one of your others and I may do so for your prepper site, which I'm trying out. It's not the money, it's the time commitment. I just got off the phone with a friend who's battling cancer and we're meeting at the range tomorrow afternoon. He needs to be enabled and motivated as much as possible. No, I'm not a saint, but he's a believer, like us, although different churches...all good, as long as no bigots.

Keith how do I ho about sharing these Bible Studies with my team on Group Meet?! If that’s possible?

The easiest way is just share the link, the URL, in either email it or text it to people. There’s also a share link in the middle of the article. You can click on that share button and then choose any option you want.
