Yes it's amazing how these biblical stories grow in meaning as we go over them as adults.

What do you say to a Christian brother, accused for past actions? Exactly what I needed for a jail visit later this week.

Anyone can be saved. The sin is less important than the salvation. But just because you’re born again in Christ Jesus, just because your name is written in lambs book of life, doesn’t excuse you from earthly judgment and justice. Child molesters must be punished for their crime. Eternally they can be saved. Physically, why they live on this earth, they must be punished for the crime of molestation and rape of children. That’s a reality that you cannot get around. We serve a God with no walls, no fences, no barriers. But we live in a society that has the rule of law. A death row killer can be born again. But it will not save them from the execution. That is the wonder, the glory, the majesty of an Almighty God.

Something to think about…
