My brother killed himself in 1985. I went through the questions you presented and arrived at the same place. i think your presentation of this Bible Study was dead center x-ring. Thanks Keith.

Suicide is a sin like any other that requires the Savior's blood to wash clean. Any person, under the right circumstances can commit murder. Any person faced with depression, regret, despair can likewise take their life. Where a person ends up always comes back to the Son of God and the embrace of His saving grace, not the last sin they committed.

"Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God." 1 Cor. 4:5.

I have lost enough to this old enemy, and want to see everything possible done to prevent any more losses. At the same time, not all suicides are actually that. We simply don't have enough evidence on which to make a final judgment.

Im not a biblical scholar but my opinion would be if the individual

Is in Christ at the time of taking their own life And since

Being in Christ, you are covered.

By the atoning. sacrifice

Of Jesus Christ on the cross. That's sin, should be covered

By Christ's sacrifice

For our sin.

And as far as repentance, goes

Most, if not all

are suffering daily, our loving savior will recognize that.

I have nothing to back any of this up. Except for my relationship with Jesus Christ.

Who gave his life for ours. Love one another as I have loved you said our Savior. My prayer for anyone who is suffering because of suicide

In their family, or friend group

Is that you may find peace in Jesus Christ.

Great study Brother Keith. Someone close to me, a combat veteran and a cop, came close to this, but a good Christian counselor at the VA helped him and he lives today serving other vets as an LCSW at the same VA.

Thank you. 🙏🏼 💔😭✝️ This was one of the most important things I have ever read and you gave me a tremendous amount of peace. Suicide is hard enough to cope with, without being told that my brothers and sisters are in eternal hell. I've always believed that myself because it was taught to me from RC church as a child.

Another takeaway for me is to constantly go to God's Word to see what God says about it, and to not ever just take what the church and what people say as fact. More and more I'm starting to see that things that I was taught as being "of God," absolutely are not.

Thank you for your tremendous honesty, for bringing this out into the Light because it shouldn't be shameful and buried, and for all of us reading this to know that we are certainly not alone in how much this hurts and affects us.

God bless you all, and be loved and healed in Jesus Name.

First: you write well, and this message is needed to be heard by many. Thank you.

Second: Do you write for the goal of delivering solid messages or for the hope of a monetary gain? The immediate plea for one to subscribe to a paid subscription almost steered me away. The strength of the message kept me reading in spite of the several requests for a paid subscription.

I am not expecting you to give away gratis the time spent writing. Just asking for an introspection of motive.

Again, thank you for a timely well-written essay.

Fair question. My goal is to save Warriors. This is always free. I do hope the people that can pay do to help cover the costs of putting this together and the time that takes to make it happen. But it is definitely not expected.
